It embodies traditional Chinese culture through exciting performances featuring dance, singing, dazzling costumes, and ornate performances, as well as colorful facial makeup that adds a special appeal.

Gestures and mimetic movements. For example, there is no real door, carriage, boat, mountain, or horse on the stage. Rather, the actors reenact these things with mimetic movements such as opening the door, riding the carriage, rowing the boat, climbing the mountain,

And horse riding.


Lianxi (Lianxi)

It is a term that refers to the facial color in Peking Opera makeup, which reflects the psychological and emotional state of the character in the performance.

The types of facial makeup designs in Peking Opera carry deep meanings, as the colors used indicate different qualities.

For characters:


Red: Loyalty and Courage


Yellow: cruelty and brutality


Golden Yellow: Gods and Demons


White: Evil


Blue: recklessness and rashness


Black: Straightness
